This desk looks nice, but the quality is poor. The drawers were damage when received, I called the customer service and they sent me the new ones.

Some parts of the desk should be metal but they are plastic instead. So, it is very easy to break. My 16 months old son opened the drawers and CPU door a few times and they broke. They are very easy to get scratches.

    Pros:

    1.Appearance-Desk looks very sophisticated

    2.Style-Elegant design

    3.Storage-Fairly sizable drawers

    Cons:

1.Workmanship-although the materials look good it is rather cheap and easily damaged. The desk is assembled in two large pieces and when moving there is significant strain at the connection interface.

    2.Drawers don’t line up precisely

3.Due to the location of the tower, a lot of the wires had to be stretched significantly in order to reach the surge protector. This makes addition of peripherals VERY difficult since pulling out the tower is nearly impossible without ripping the wires out.

4.Pulling the tower scratches the finish.

5.Assembly took a VERY long time and I have experience assembling many of these types of furniture.

6.Tower seems to heat up a lot faster inside the compartment due to poor airflow.

Bottom line: Not bad for the price, but certainly not great.

I hate this about a lot of pressed board furniture: the pre-drilled holes are not in the right place and the drawers and doors are all crooked when you’re finished.

It looks sloppy. The door is the only straight piece on this because it can be adjusted with the hinges.

The keyboard tray slides out very easily which is sometimes not so with this type of furniture. It is a beautiful color and would look awesome if the drawers weren’t so crooked.

It’s very solid, doesn’t wobbly at all and has just the right amount of storage space. It has a nice thin 2 shelf system above the filing cabinet section that is perfect for routers, cable modems & other small devices to be placed and free up desk/floor space.

Next time I will be spending more for real wood furniture with STRAIGHT drawers. But for the price, this serves it’s purpose well.

I bought this desk from a Bush outlet and it was shipped to my house. It arrived broken. The desktop was literally cracked in half. For what should be a very substantial piece of the desk, that should not have happened. So my first impression is that this is not very good quality, even though UPS probably dropped or dameaged it.

Once I put it together, I could see that the whole work area of the desk is basically unsupported underneath, and has two rather flimsy legs. So moving this thing into my living room was a bit dangerous as the desk twisted and buckled as I moved it over the carpeting. I’m afriad to ever move it again, I suspect one day the top will crack in half.

I had no trouble with getting the doors/drawer straight, as some people have posted, but it is good to have a level to help you get the alignment right. What bugs me about this whole desk is that unlike other put together desks I’ve had – the finish is not really wood laminate. It’s a wood grain printed PAPER! So within days, my son had chipped off a small bit of the finish on the cpu door. After 2 months of use, the edges of the desk are also showing wear and I’ve had to use a furniture scratch pen to “paint” over the scratches. I don’t see this desk lasting very long at all. However, its one of the few desks I’ve seen that has a CPU door, which is very helpful with a toddler in the house.

I felt this product was a great product for the money. Assemby does take a few hours, but the product looks beautiful when completed. I did not find any issues with pieces being damaged during shipping. I did not have an issue with the desk being crooked when put together, of course, my husband assembled the desk, and is an engineer by trade. He said pieces were easily labeld, he had no issues with assembly. Product is easily scratched, but for adults I find it to be fine. Customer provided very fast shipping. I would recommend this product and this seller.
